ASE Certified Mechanic in Ashland, OR

Privately-owned repair shop seeks a motivated, customer-oriented automotive technician for full time position. Benefits include health insurance, uniform service, paid vacation time (after one year) and continuing education.* ASE CERTIFICATION REQUIRED, preferably all 8 certifications, plus L1. * Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.* Minimum 3 years of experience in an independent repair shop, or 5 years of experience in a dealership setting* Well-rounded import car experience (Toyota, Honda, Suburu), but comfortable working with all makes and models preferred* European experience a plus, but not required* Valid driver's license, clean driving record * Must have own set of professional tools* Working knowledge of shop equipment such as wheel and tire equipment, diagnostic equipment, AC equipment, etc.* Supervise, as assigned, the work of Apprentice Technicians* Verifiable references * Must be able to pass a pre-employment criminal background check and drug screen.Please send your resume and work references.
